The cause for a cure for MS might be to late for me but not for the next generation. It is a disease that has taken my career, activites I used to enjoy and mobilty at times and the list gors on. People need to know more about it so we can have drugs under thousands of dollars..... I WANT A BETTER LIFE!

I totally get you Lisa... I had to resign a job I loved as a physician assistant and not work at all . I went from a person who lived working in my flower beds, playing tennis, swimming, bike riding and all other outdoor activities!!!! And it is a constant worry in my mind about the insurance the meds the doctor visits etc...... My poor husband works 3 jobs to keep up with all that I have to take and the things I cannot do. I pisses my off that we can't figure a better system for this...

I Ono they are working hard for a cure BUT in the meantime do we have to pay outrageous prices for maintain meds and depression meds, MRI's , blood work , CT SCANS ETC........

I have MS for 5 years and we tried all MS shot and my body rejected them all. Then they tried a new pill and I threw up all day long so that didn't work. I'm tired all the time I lost 30 pounds and I hate acting like I'm not tired 24/7 =(. I have a full time job and friends and family that support me. Without them I would never get out of bed. I hate MS! But I love hugs =).

Having peers to talk to makes a huge difference. It can be a lonely road.

We need to educate people, and if the next person says "you don't look like there's anything wrong with you", they're going to get a sore face!!!
