So many unwanted dogs in shelters all over the country as it is, to keep breeding more for profit is immoral and disgraceful. these poor animals are unhealthy and kept in squalid conditions. most of them don't survive long. let's stop this horrible practice.

We have a charity rehoming dogs and are totally sickened by this exploitation. We see lots that have originated from puppy farms and they come to us when people realise that they are way out of their depth trying to care for these poor souls, such is the level of trauma they have suffered. Shut down the lot we say, is there ever such a thing as a 'good' puppy farm?

One of our dogs (all rescue) came from a puppy farm in Ireland then a dealer in Wales. She is 6 now and although much better than she was, still gets highly stressed.

It could take months for them to become rehabilitated and learn to trust humans. Some never do and remain nervous and hand-shy for the rest of their days, due to rough treatment and ignorance and greed of the Puppy Farmers. They only see them as 'livestock' - a commodity to make them money!
