The more God is not welcome at the helm of the U.S. government, I would venture to say the more the U.S. will make less of an impact on the world stage.

Let me rephrase my comment so I don't have any misunderstandings from anyone. We have always needed help from day one. Some have recieved some and many none. Early service after WW2, we had no honorable welcome home, no programs for the suffereing, no outreach programs, and fought with Uncle Sam to recieve compensation for defending our country with our lives. Our own people hated us, our families rejected us, could not find work, no one would hire any killers, god forbid they forgot who put...

But they were able to injest the killings in on our country, then support them by paying for thier confinement. The fact is, our boys need all the help they can get.Our goverment is responsible to treat and care for every single one of our troops wether hostile situation or none, they have earned that right.......

The "thing" America chose to run the military is nothing more than a coward and has the mind of a dictator. He has no spirit of brotherhood felt by every veteran or active service member. For those of us disappointed in the election today, will have only "we told you so" after his term is through.
Nixon at least had the foresight to resign for the good of America, but at this moment, our biggest enemy occupies the white house.

I have a really good friend that is a Marine Vet and served in Iraq and Afganistan for three years (from 2003-2006). He told me some of the things he went through while he was there, makes me cry, and it still haunts him to this day. Whenever he tells me what happens, he still get so emotional about it and still blames himself for what he had to do to save his own life.Even though I can tell him to not blame himself, I know its very hard not to. I know I could never understand what he went through, but I can be there to listen and support him when he's going thinking about it. It breaks my heart that he is hold alot of blame (on himself) for what he had to do. I'm just grateful that he has a very loving and supportive fiancee (also one of my good friends) that has been there for him and is keeping him sane. But I do understand what PTSD does to someone (im going through it myself, but under different circumstances), and it's very hard to get over something very traumatic that has happened in your past. And unless you have someone to talk to that has been through the same thing you've been through, no one else can say you understand their circumstances. Just be there to listen and support them when they are their bad day.
