The "thing" America chose to run the military is nothing more than a coward and has the mind of a dictator. He has no spirit of brotherhood felt by every veteran or active service member. For those of us disappointed in the election today, will have only "we told you so" after his term is through.
Nixon at least had the foresight to resign for the good of America, but at this moment, our biggest enemy occupies the white house.
I have a really good friend that is a Marine Vet and served in Iraq and Afganistan for three years (from 2003-2006). He told me some of the things he went through while he was there, makes me cry, and it still haunts him to this day. Whenever he tells me what happens, he still get so emotional about it and still blames himself for what he had to do to save his own life.Even though I can tell him to not blame himself, I know its very hard not to. I know I could never understand what he went...

Whenever he tells me what happens, he still get so emotional about it and still blames himself for what he had to do to save his own life.Even though I can tell him to not blame himself, I know its very hard not to. I know I could never understand what he went through, but I can be there to listen and support him when he's going thinking about it. It breaks my heart that he is hold alot of blame (on himself) for what he had to do. I'm just grateful that he has a very loving and supportive fiancee (also one of my good friends) that has been there for him and is keeping him sane. But I do understand what PTSD does to someone (im going through it myself, but under different circumstances), and it's very hard to get over something very traumatic that has happened in your past. And unless you have someone to talk to that has been through the same thing you've been through, no one else can say you understand their circumstances. Just be there to listen and support them when they are their bad day.
They fought to protect are country Noel they need our helpthe things theysaw and did. For US having to kill some one for our country can have a haunting efett we can sign up all we want that does nothing we have to try towels them in some way and stand together with in the law. And help our troops, free them stand by the, l respectand honor them know matter heat they had to do stand together to help them know matter what
What is wrong with these so-called Americans that deny our very own veterans what they more than earned. We have all we have because of their bravery. I honor all Veterans and welcome the chance to help or be there for them..
We need to help our soldiers! They have put their life on the life for us it is the very least we can do to help them! They deserve the best treatment we can possibly give them!
You don't know if you have never been there. It is a pain you can't feel but still can't get away from. And surely a dope smokeing , anti american from kinia does not understand nor will he ever.
even though I have never served I have PTSD and if I have the trouble I have our vets must go through 10 fold! Besides when it comes to our military I SUPPORT ALWAYS!
Yes our Veterans need and deserve all the help they can get..They go over there to make a difference and come home with memories they can not get rid of and the medical people turned their backs on them..Help them get back into society with Counseling, meds if necessary and compassion..Most people can not and do not understand what is in a veterans head when he comes home having seem 8 of his friends killed, maimed and disfigured you can't shut that down right away.. So Thank a Vet and please pray for them to Heal..Mary W.
As a veteran, I believe that the men and women who serve their country and fight for our freedom, not once, not twice, but sometimes three and four times deserve the best medical and mental health care that can be given. Lest we forget!
I worked at the V.A. Medical Center in Salem, Va, for 37.5 years and saw thousands of veterans coming back with PTSD. How could anyone doubt the effect that war and casualties have on one's mind, much less those seriously wounded. WWII evidenced many with shell shock, and look at the ones with PTSD. God Bless America and our American troops!
