I am as a Chinese do not fancy or find anything good about shark fin soup. Hate to see those pictures of sharks that have fins cut off. In addition to sharks, eating turtles and dogs are also crazy and should be ban.
Thank you Raymond, love the way you think! We need more people like you...
Don't forget the other side of the equation, those who consume them?
Shark fin is a very popular and considered to be expensive food in Hong Kong & China. But as soon as I learned how they abandon the shark after cutting their fin, I feel so sick to have the shark fin soup. I won't take it and won't let my family ordering it in any eating out occasions. It works and now most restaurants in Hong Kong are not selling shark fin soup. I'm glad the society is changing since the awareness has been brought up
That's right Yoly. People need to be aware of the process of their food before it ends up on their plate. This to me is very important.
Bless you for your compassion and understanding.
have you gone out with a fishing boat to see them cut off the fin and throw the shark back in to drown? no? then have you been to australia to have fish and chips? cuz the fish fillet in fish and chips in australia uses shark meat. so no matter what, whether you have fins for dinner or not, sharks are still dying. be more aware of the underlying problem of society, earning money riding on their whims and facies of "donating to stop finning".
Shark finning must be stopped, too cruel.
Insipid senseless slaying of wildlife is deplorble and must be thoroughly condemned.
a great need to control the population boom ,lessening the worlds demand 4 food,
life should not be taken by us humans.it is a shame
Those people buying the soup are also being ripped off.. That's a whale shark... isn't that technically not even a shark?

Such an unnecessary waste of nature's generous bounty.
