Falmouth relies on tourism. Help protect the waters.
Nobody likes beaches with algal green slime on them fed by nitrogen pollution.
there should not be any killing of fish. there are to many hungry people in the world that could eat them.
I wish more people would see this and signe this pertion. It is important to have clean waters for our health ;there is to much polution in the world ;and it is only getting a lot worse .So let us do our part and stop pollution in the ocean .We all have to take some action ,Before there is nothing left .
Yes, Falmouth is setting an example for other coastal towns to follow.
Thank you Rob ;i hope so 'i don't want to c all the fish at the top of the water ;on the acount there is so much rubish in the ocean ;it is wrong if people are to lazy to get rid of there rubish then there they should be responsable for this ,I got your message .
OCEANS ARE LIFE! WEMUST LOVE AND CARE THEM!
Please stop pollution......Why are you doing this????????
It makes no sence once again profit over life
Well intended lawn owners are being duped by fertilizer sales where it goes into water ways and does little for grass unless it is 50%=100% slow release.

It's all about money and greed and corporate offices now days. They don't care about the economy , saving the fish or cleaning up the waters. That would make way to much sense and would cost them money and that's where the greed comes in ! Honestly the world today just makes me sick !
If the authorities fail to clean up these waters then tourism will suffer and so will the economy of this city. So its your choice Mr Mayor and other elected representatives. If improving your states economy is of interest to you then you will take the right financial steps and clean up these waters.
In this case the local authorities are doing right. We are needed to make sure state government does not step in and mess about in local affairs at the request of the fertilizer industries.
That is a responsible position to take. Glad that sensible positive steps are being taken!
A pozitiv lepeseket tamogatom ,mert ez nagyon fontos az egesseges elthez.
Corporate greed poisoning any water way is evil.
THIS IS A WORTHY CAUSE. ALGAE SPREADS RAPIDLY AN TAKES OXYGEN AWAY FROM MARINE LIFE!
David Churbuck reports in a delightful blog titled "The Pissing of Summer Lawns:"
Last July Falmouth’s Little Pond suffered a fish kill when warm weather and eutrophication depleted the oxygen in the salt pond and left a lot of dead striped bass on its shores. Another fish kill happened in North Falmouth the year before.
