Too often people spend Remembrance Day shopping or just doing nothing. Having a father and husband who served and a cousin who was killed in WWII, I hope that something will be done so that the children of today will have a greater sense of the sacrifice of the many who have made our way of life one to be celebrated.

I hold no higher respect then the respect that I hold for our soldier's. The men and women who give up most and in some cases all of their lives to help to defend the right for me to sit here on my couch on Sunday and right this statement with no worry of recourse. God Bless you all.....you are truly hero's.

I had an uncle who was killed in France in WWII. My middle name is after him...I wish I knew him, he wrote a letter to my mom a week before he was killed. He talked about how nice it was there in France and other things you would write to your sister about...I never met him and I miss him! He died for FREEDOM and and our soldiers deserve the honour of our respect and support. God bless em all.

I have many family and friends that have and are still serving. Without them and the sacrifices they have made we would not have what we have today. We have them to thank and remember for the freedom that we have today and in the future.

No matter who you are you have your freedom to live as you like because someone has lost their life. Many are still fighting for those freedoms we take for granted. Please say a prayer everyday for those still in the field and their families.

My son in law is serving in affganistan at the moment and when you have someone involved that is so close it really brings it home to you. Bless all the soldiers that have given their lives for this cause. And I prey that their families will live in love and piece. And that we don't loose anymore of our beloved Hero's
