We must all change our eating habits. No processed foods ! We are , as a species , just living on credit. Future eating cultures abound, most poor people don't have a choice but richer countries can act, can't they? will they? I wonder.? Most people at apathetic and don't see further than the nose on their face. Sad , we have so much potential.
I love animals and they deserve their homes as mutch as us and thier gods creation we must stand!!!!!!!!!
I love all animals they are god gifts for whole world .!!
THEY ARE ALSO CREATION OF THE ONE WHO CREATED US.
That is why I stand tall and speak up for the animals. Cause God did create animals also...
Maybe they deserve their "home" much more then us becauese "they dont eat much, they dont dress much, they dont buid much they dont polute much" they live in perfect harmony with environment.
So why do people eat them???.... crazy. Veganism and more conscious eating will fix all these issues very quickly. I love that you love animals BTW.
im with you.....love them all
with all of you! Animals are one of God's greatest gifts to us and about the most abused. They only kill to eat, fight only to defend themselves and their families and live in harmony with the environment.. They dont destroy it! I admire the beauty of all living creatures and it's my passion to fight for all of them against the evil selfishness of humans who seek to destroy environments that aren't even theirs!
You say it all!
I fully agree!
Thanks, Yvonne & Janet: We should keep on pursuing this very important issue so that people in our planet understand why it's so important to protect beside our own human race. Not many people read our planet's 4 billion years history. Thanks again, Amulya
please share this today.
In cases like these, man should deserve to be annihilated by the same asteroid that 65 million years ago wiped all dynosaurs off the face of the earth.
No animal shoud be wiped out.
De mens is zichzelf en alles rondom hem aan het vernietigen !
All our Buetifhul animals should be living in peace n harmony.man should be very ashamed for destroying there homes.very ashamed. Greed n evil. :-( :-( :-( :-( .
God created this earth for all His animals, not just for we humans, we need to do everything we possibly can to keep it a pristine as possible and protect all the animals!
man is so greedy the more they have the more they want, animals need space as well.
My daughter and I were shopping for soap the other day. She whinged and whined when I said that we were not buying anything with a Palmolive brand. "But I want the vanilla smelling soap and its the only brand that has it." Tough love. My only consolation is that the orangutangs don't think so.
i do try and look at the labels but it is not always clear products need to be label ingredients PALM OIL
If there is such a thing as Peanut oil, then there should be an abundance of Soya oil or Grape seed oil?
Yes; thank you, Zamina -- where I live (semi-rural) there are lots alternatives! Coconut oil, for one, is the healthiest oil and it tastes great.
Dear Gemma, what are we asking these companies to replace palm oil with? I'd love to learn a little more about this issue. Thanks and good luck!
Vegetable oil is what was used before cheap-but very unhealthy-palm oil became popular.
Interesting. Thanks Jennifer. What about something like Canola oil? That would be healthier, right?
Hi Matt, we are asking snack food companies to reduce their consumption of palm oil, to use alternatives where possible and to make sure that any palm oil they use has not resulted in forest destruction or social conflict in Indonesia and Borneo Malaysia. In regards to alternative oils they can use oils that are not grown in the tropics and have been produced responsibly including olive oil, canola oil, corn oil and safflower oil. The American Heart Association also recommends eating these monounsaturated oils and polyunsaturated fats instead of processed palm oil. Another option in the tropics is coconut oil. Thanks to everyone who is supporting our cause - we are going to need the help!
Awesome; this is great information. I really appreciate the thorough response Gemma! Best of luck with the campaign. Keep us up to date on how we can help!
Not only in Sumatra, also here in Kenya, people are destroying the forests which are our country"s water towers. Then the during the dry season the citizens and their political godfathers cry of hunger in the country. What abunch of idiots and hypocrites.
That is tragic. I am sorry to hear about this in Kenya. We are truly wrecking the planet for what we think is "our benefit."
Your actions make a difference. Every person that says YES to environmental responsibility is making a stand for Nature's value.
THANKS DEAR MAY THIS SPREAD THORUGHOUT THE UNIVERSE.
