My father passed away in 2009 from Cancer and one of my best friends this past June! I miss them both terribly, as well as many other important people in my life that was taken by this disease!
Because I am a A.M.L. survivour! I was diagnosed in 2007, in remission for a year, then it came back with avengence. In my head this time as well as my body! It was a very long road to where I'm at right now. Ofcourse I thank all my friends and family for all their suport. But if for not all the reserch and hard work of LLS has done, I truelly believe I may not be here telling you this. So for me I got your back LLS just like u had mine! :)

My Dad was diagnosed with Leukemia, Diffused Large B-cell Lymphoma & Bone Cancer a year ago. He's not doing well. Chemo is not working anymore. Out of the 3 cancers, the Lymphoma is the aggressor. Unfortunately, it's a rare form. In the beginning we were hoping the chemo would work & he could get a bone marrow transplant. He's been too weak & has had too many complications for a transplant. We are in limbo now, just waiting for a breakthrough. Trying to keep our emotions in tact & keeping...

We are in limbo now, just waiting for a breakthrough. Trying to keep our emotions in tact & keeping him comfortable. He is having to get treatment through the VA Hospital in Houston. They have been great, but at times their hands are tied. I just wish all of this would magically disappear or I would wake up as if it were a nightmare. God Bless all of the survivors & families out there & best wishes.
My Prayers to you and your family. Love you girl.
Ok I'm tearing up again
Because my husband Byron Madewell passed away from AML on 10/18/2012 .. After fighting it since 1/5/2011.
Tina so sorry for your loss. I was looking up my dear old friend tonight on face book, only to find your prayer page from May. Byron was a good friend to me years ago. Truly So saddened to know I missed seeing him again. I lost my brother 2011to cancer @ 41. God Bless you & your family. Happy to know he found a wonderful woman & family to loved him. One day at a time .
I support the causes of Leukemia because I have seen the thing's it does and how much it hurt's not only the children and people with this but the loving and caring people around them. The more supporters there are the be better.Just by letting them know you care.
I Want to help!
MY BROTHER JUST DIED MAY 12 FROM CANCER, I MISS HIM SO MUCH!
I support this cause because I personally know people who had Leukemia and Lymphoma and two of them did not make.
My daughter Alecia Chistina Snyder recently lost her battle with Leukemia. She was so strong but in the end this disease won!! This disease makes me so angry it took away everything from her and took her away from us!! But I do know she is with The Lord now. No more pain!! And I will not stop the fight for finding a cure!! I want the orange ribbon to be as we'll known as the pink one is!! I love you my angel, Alecia Christina Snyder 7/5/90-9/23/12 we will never forget.....
