It's their responsibilty. They are dropping the ball.
So sad. Prayers for this family..
Sue Air Liquide for all they're worth
God bless this man and his familly !!
Even if he looses his job, they will be responsible for all of his medical bills, probably for the rest of his life. Unfortunately, his wife and kids won't be covered and that's a crying shame. They should at least offer to continue his insurance benifits even if they let him go...
I would love to hear Air Liquide's perspective at this point.
So sorry to hear about this. What has this country come to.Who gives them the right to do this, there should be laws to protect us workers, they say there is but it all it does is protect the company. ALL BULLSHIT! AND DISGUSTING! I do not trust anything they tell me anymore. Who can we trust?
Some things are more important than business.
Signed. I had the good fortune of working for a company here in Seattle that actually kept me on the payroll (even though I couldn't go into the office; instead of my salary, they paid me short-term disability) 7 months after I herniated a disc (so I COULD keep my insurance). After 7 months, we made the MUTUAL decision that it was time to part ways.
Air Liquide, which is a much larger company than the one I worked for, should step up to the plate here.
I posted this on our local news Facebook pages hoping to gain some attention. I cannot even imagine what this family is going through. As if they don't have enough on their plate.
Thanks so much!
