Not every American is Christian. I don't care if you worship your god, but don't force others to do so under the guise of patriotism. A non-Christian can serve our country as well as any.

Either love this country with all of it's religious memorials and our freedoms to express our love and appreciation for those who have fought for these freedoms or take the first plane to Afghanistan and join the other God haters!

So forget about the Constitution and kick out all the non-Christians?

If they are allowed to remove one, which one will be next? The wall in DC?

The Wall in D.C. Is not a religious symbol.

You don't have to believe in the same God as I do. But remember respect is deserved to all Vietnam veterans for their servive as do all veterans.

http://www.americans-working-together.com/this-is-how-one-state-repays-veterans/id84.html

We delivered the first 5,000 signatures of support to the Coos Bay City leaders and they have accepted them.

Please keep signing and sharing our petition to show our support for this Veterans Memorial. In less than a week, we have had over 7,000 signers, near 3,000 shares and near 150 comments.

Christ gave his life on the Cross to save our souls, 57,000 servicemen and women gave their lives in Vietnam to save our freedom. I will bet you those 57,000 servicemen and women do not want to give up those crosses. It is time to teach our politicians--"don't tread on me" I am a Vietnam Vet and when I pass away, I want a cross above my head indicating that I lived and died in a Christian Nation.

You are assuming all 57,000 servicemen were Christian. The US has always been a secular nation.

No way should the Cross be removed. I support freedom of religion. I do not support anyone who causes or promotes disagreement between religions we all have the same creators.

You know nothing of the commandments Patrick. Or you wouldn't be on this site.

Don't like the cross? Then pass it by, pay it no attention--just as I and my fellow Vietnam Vets pay you such little regard!!

Lisa, you don't have any rights that would allow you to place religious symbols on public property.
