Warm regards to you all.

This young man should have as much rights to a heart transplant as anyone else. That is just wrong. So what does that mean that we only save healthy people? What about elderly or diabetics? I am diabetic would they let me die, I do not smoke or drink either. Is the quality of life determined by one person? How can one person decide that his life is of no importance. For all we know he might do larger and greater things than that doctor will ever do in his lifetime. Look how many he has...

God is the one who decides the quality of life not a doctor and how dare he say that his life is less important than his own.

Its a shame that Doctors want help a person due to a person having mental illness. I know My cousin had Down syndrome and he had heart trouble as well as kidney trouble. The heart doctors he went to said due to him having down syndrome that he wouldn't know how to take care of his self. My family and I have been with him since Willie was born. But the doctors said he wouldn't know what to do if they did the surgery. so basically they would not do surgery on him and he passed away November...

We had him to several Heart doctors but still no one would try to help him cause he had the Down syndrome.

My 24 year old son Mark died in a car accident in 2008. His organs, including his heart, were donated. I would be horrified to think that anybody would be turned away for such a reason.
