Well, if this is truly exploitation of children then shouldn't the FBI be contacted and involved, no matter what Facebook wishes to do or not? Facebook could, itself, be in a huge amount of trouble for failing to police this behavior, and especially after several members have reported the activity directly to Facebook.

Btw, in the THIS ONE links in the article above here: "Pages like THIS ONE and THIS ONE...," the first one goes to a removed page and the second one, which I find amusing, goes to one's home page. So, facebook has apparently done something. I do know that if there are violations of US Federal laws regarding exploitation of children on Facebook pages and Facebook is unwilling to do anything about it, they could come under the FBI's watchful eye, not a position they would want to find themselves in I think.

I reported several photographs of young girls last week. Only ONE out of 7 was removed. Today I reported 4 more, of "children" in obscene poses. Let's see how many they remove this time. :(
Facebook should be ashamed!

Connie-when I have reported , I have been told that these were 'humor' pages. Yet when I express my views as a Christian, I am censored, warned and threatened with perment banning

This is really sad. I reported 4 more and NONE were removed. Those poor children! I can't say online what I'd like to do to those perverts. Grrrr. Can't believe Facebook is allowing this crap knowing full well these children are under age. And we can't even speak our minds about it. I might get banned myself for this comment. Horrible!

Facebook has a strict policy against the sharing of pornographic content and any explicitly sexual content where a minor is involved. We also impose limitations on the display of nudity. We aspire to respect people’s right to share content of personal importance, whether those are photos of a sculpture like Michelangelo's David or family photos of a child breatfeeding.
