I agree. I will never get to know my mother-in-law because of this horrible disease.
Too true, I had ovarian cancer in 2004, luckily it was caught early.I now have secondary tumours in my lymph system which I have to live with
I'm in my fourth year as an ovarian cancer survivor. I have had several recurrences and am learning how to treat this as a chronic disease. Ovarian cancer is a neglected cancer in terms of attention and research.
Hi Kerry, (and others!)
I agree that ovarian cancer is an important issue that deserves to be addressed as well. This cause is dedicated primarily for breast cancer, but here is a cause that is focused on ovarian cancer. http://www.causes.com/causes/317-ovarian-cancer-awareness
I lost my sister to breast cancer an my husband to lung cancer I think we need to more research on any type of cancer

Can't believe I forgot to make mention of this, but I've been researching the health benefits of Wheatgrass, especially for cancer preventative/treatment. Here's a quick article about a guy who's wife had breast cancer and raised Irish Wolfhounds (prone to cancer as well) and gave them both fresh wheatgrass juice: http://sproutman.com/sproutblog/wp-content/uploads/pdf/DOGS-PROVE-WHEATGRASS-WORKS.pdf.
I support & participate in the AVON Walk for Breast Cancer because they do not Animal Test & I am able to support my 2-top causes.
