The fact that the Red Cross took down their flimsy tents around Christmas was astounding to me. It was equally astounding that both the Red Cross & Red Crescent Societies and FEMA both thought that tents would be a good idea in the Northeast in winter. I had hoped that the tents would be replaced with trailers but I was wrong. These hubs need to be left up for as long as they are needed. I sincerely hope that the mayor will send SOMEONE out to REALLY take a look block by block and see what...
