We are ALL at RISK! Education, and bridge building...the only solution...
I know three of us that have chronic Lyme disease here in Canada with not too many more Dr's that understand as much as we do now. Nothing against the Dr's themselves The Gov't says No Lyme!
I was one of the ones who had it and was denied help and did not know what to do as I knew my symptoms pointed to it. I finally showed my doctor some ongoing sores and got him to send me for a biopsy on two of the lumps. One of biopsy cuts got infected and when the surgeon sent a sample to a lab found out that I had to be on an anti-biotic that is given to people with lyme's disease. After going on the antibiotic I began to get well.
No one can be sure it won't happen to them, many already is sick without knowing it is chronic Lyme and co infections - believing in their diagnoses, risking getting sicker and sicker.. This multiple infections disease is a bad slowly killer disease.. Help us, help your loved ones and help yourself now and in the future by signing this, like I just did!!!
Anyone can get Lyme---I have friends who are fighting this disease every single day of their life. One young girl is a patient and friend of my daughter's who is also getting treated at the same infusion center. My daughter doesn't have Lyme but all these diseases are disabling none the less and they need our support. These kids are suffering.
Dont know if my son had or had Lyme disease but he was very ill and had s heart attack after being bitten by ticks.
After 20 Pulse years of going to our Manitoba government for the education of our doctors Our Manitoba Heath authorities interfered with my doctor and he is now unable to treat me for Lyme. He feel he will loose his license if he treats me. This is blatant interference. this After thousands of dollars were spent on a conference to show both sides of the Lyme controversy, I was assured many time over by our Deputy Health Minister they could not get involved. This abuse of Lyme sufferers must stop.
Lyme disease does exist in Canada, in Quebec so if soldiers get sick with it treat them, end of the story!
Government has to wake up!
Something has to be done. I can't believe that this can keep going on without someone doing something to stop this disease.
