Farmers and Ranchers in the PNW are complaining about the destruction of their trees, shrubs and crops b/c of the rapid growth of elk and deer herds. They are also competing for the grass lands with cattle. Where are the wolves? Where are they? We need them to balance nature. Wake up people.

I hope the government would stop asking people (couples) to have more children. More people does not mean only in the increase in the society. It also leads to other negative impacts (more carbon dioxide and some others) we have on the earth. The government should banned hunters and help increase the wildlife population such as the wolves, sharks, tigers, elephant and other near endangered species.

There is a mega problem in Oregon after the government, sticking its nose in, against the will of the people, and Native American Tribal Membersa, dumped tons of fast breeding wolves into a limited population of elk and deer.

Packs of 35-wolves are decimating the elk, deer, and when they are scarce, farm livestock. Any camper, backpacker, hiker, or farm family member unlucky enough to be in their line of site and terror, may meet their maker that day. I believe in live capture and sending...

Packs of 35-wolves are decimating the elk, deer, and when they are scarce, farm livestock. Any camper, backpacker, hiker, or farm family member unlucky enough to be in their line of site and terror, may meet their maker that day. I believe in live capture and sending them to zoos where feasible. Just like cats and dogs, you cannot have something that carnivorous, and fast breeding, taking over the environment.

I ask this question, "Don't the elk and deer have a right to exist too?"

Five wolf litters will decimate one calf elk and deer populations, and wolf packs even kill for sport too!

Eric, The wolves are not decimating herds, there has not been an incident yet of human death, and further more they do not kill for sport. Do some research, I think you are smarter than that!

Further more ask hunters and ranchers if they think, their prey has the right to live, after they have shot and killed it- Did they even say "thank you" to the animals spirit after the kill... A life is a life, and I am pro life, let nature take care of the ecosystem and let man keep his frickin nose out of it.
