Dear Geniuses. Plastic come from oil which comes from the earth. Throwing away plastic into the ground is not Armageddon. I know you all feel better about yourselves because you are raising a stink, but at the end of the day you are doing NOTHING?!!!!!

Dear Mr. Nothing: --- At the end of the day it is people like YOU who are the dirty birds that shit in their own nest, as the old saying goes. Too bad there are so many of you carelessly polluting the earth, raping it of its resources and giving nothing back. If it weren't for people with a conscience "raising a stink" you wouldn't have air to suck in to sustain a miserable life. At the end of the day, doing SOMETHING is better than what you are doing, Sonny Boy. Wise up, wake up and if...

At the end of the day, doing SOMETHING is better than what you are doing, Sonny Boy. Wise up, wake up and if you don't care about your own health, maybe consider that your kids or grandkids might like a chance at living theirs WITHOUT cancer and all the other neurological disorders that come from plastics, oil, fracking, BPA in baby items and children's toys that they literally SUCK ON, etc. It's much like handing your baby an oil soaked baby rattle from an oil spill. And a genius you're NOT, sad to say.

Hey dude... I can see how you might think this, but this is far from truth. Plastic is made of toxic chemicals that take 300-500 years to fully biodegrade. For every year each piece sits in a dump, it is releasing those toxins. If it ends up in the ocean, which an incredible amount of plastic does, it takes even longer... if it ever fully does. Also, fish and birds are eating the bits of plastic that they think is food. They have opened up dying birds, gulls, their babies, etc. after they...

Also, fish and birds are eating the bits of plastic that they think is food. They have opened up dying birds, gulls, their babies, etc. after they have died to find their insides completely full of plastic bits and even full toys. It has even altered the genetics of the very fish we eat, making their hormones change to the point that the fish even change sexes. It's pretty detrimental, my man. And truly worth advocating a different production. Plastic is okay, say for instance, in the collectible toy that you will keep forever and it will even be passed down. It doesn't need to biodegrade since it is staying in its form and off of the Earth.

Check out a few documentaries, especially Plastic Planet. It will open your eyes and mind quite a bit. I can barely hold a plastic bottle after watching without thinking of the harm it does, both to me and the Earth. That is all :)

Not only TraderJoe's but Starbucks! With all the cups of coffee go out of there door, they do not recycle!

Why go after Trader Joe's specifically? Why single out that one company when HUNDREDS OR MORE other companies do the same damn thing? Walmart's guilty, Sam's Club, BJs, Costco, local grocery store chains.......here in SC we have Bi-Lo, Piggly Wiggly and Food Lion as well as other stores who do the same damn thing. If you're going to protest something like this then include every single guilty store and not just one specifically. I mean, damn.

Cellophane is not plastic. It's cellulose. Plastic wrap used to be cellophane, but is now plastic.

Every little bit we do to reduce our impact on the environment helps, but what about reversing damage that has already been done? While many of us may say, "I'm too poor to give money to any group helping the environment", we really cannot afford NOT to support them.

I LOVE to support The Eden Projects, which employs impoverished people to reforest their land and has planted over 56 MILLION trees in the 8 years since they began at only 10 CENTS a tree! I am thoroughly acquainted with...
