Give me a break....wind power is useless and overpriced. Put scrubbers and filters on your gas and oil , much cheaper, much cleaner, and it will not destroy your environment. DO NOT sign this petition.. Wind energy is just a huge money grab.

stop and tbink for a moment. energy independence for the USA would do more for world peace than all the diplomats in the UN. Approving the Keystone Pipeline and drilling in North and South Dakota, Montana, Wyoming, and southern Canada would mean we would not need mideastern oil. then we could concentrate on the US. bring our troops home at the same time.

There are significant dangers in running the pipeline. As long as those are avoided, though I don't know how, I suppose this is okay. I think we would do better to invest in alternate sources. However, the people with money invested in oil don't want that to happen!

Putting fist in the air and head in the sand won't change anything. Critical thinking (something that's been missing in our government) is all that's necessary for energy solutions.

While Obama has stripped our Military of Breakfast & while existing on Low Military pay, We still can support their own Military clean energy programs with our Oil that comes from their hearts, their dedication. Wouldn't you agree to Support them in any way we can? Sign the Petition!

And who do you think is trying to get these idiots in Congress to support the idea of Climate Change?? That's right, the President. Who do you think signed off on a tax break for anyone who bought a hybrid car?? That's right--the President. He has worked harder than anyone to promote clean energy. I suggest you do some research instead of believing everything that drops into your inbox. As far as the troops no longer getting breakfast, here's a quote from registered dietitian and Army...

As far as the troops no longer getting breakfast, here's a quote from registered dietitian and Army Captain Christina Deehl--"when we initially entered Iraq and Afghanistan, soldiers were eating MREs every day until we were logistically established. Once again when we draw down and pull out, we will see a similar trend."

They've already proved that humans literally have very little to no effect on the environment. If you want to help the planets then plant some trees. As for the new fuel sources we really do need them. Scientists say that with in the next 40 years we could actually be nearing the use of the earths last petroleum deposits. At that point we will have no choice but to find a new fuel source. Also, if you've seen the gas prices now just wait until we start to run out. Your life saving wouldn't get you a full tank.

ou would have to run them right along side with fossil fuels to have an immediate back up in case any problems arise. Going total green though, not gonna happen. Diesel powered generators are a necessity and for emission equipped vehicles would make them way too hot by making the mechanical parts of the vehicle shut down from too much heat or would stop the soldiers from being able to make an important high speed escape. Look up DPF for Diesel engines to understand how it works. I'm all for getting away from fossil fuels but not at the expense of the military

The only worthwhile clean energy is nuclear and it is by far the cheapest. Relying on oil is foolish because it will run out eventually and then reliability is placed on foreign imports which can hold a country to ransom, so provide clean energy the nuclear way.

Oil was supposed to run out in the 70's. And Nuclear? RELIABLE?! Tell that to Chernobyl and Japan, AND 3 MILE ISLAND!

Oh please don't bring that up. We in the West have some of the finest nuclear engineers and scientists anywhere and are much more likely to keep this form of energy safe. I have worked with these guys and they are dedicated in their work and know what they are doing. Chernobyl and Japan were dreadful accidents, one because there was carelessness and the other because of an eathquake. Believe me nuclear energy is the future.
