How do you break up a corporate entity..don't buy the products but we are being denied that right because we don't know what's in the products. How dumb are the people in California?

I don't buy the products of companies who have contributed to keep the public controlled and ignorant. I only buy from companies I know and trust, but actually I buy little processed foods.

Corn was not genetically modified by Native Americans. Genetic modification which has occurred since the early 1990's and has been on the market and widely distributed since 1996, was created using an organism from another species such as E-coli or another equally toxic bacteria, or soil pathogen --in the case of corn and cotton. Every cell in the DNA of corn has replicated this soil pathogen, which is toxic to all animals that ingest it. And humans are of the animal kingdom, meaning it is...

Using Bt sparingly the way organic farmers or native Americans may have done is not the same as changing the building blocks of life of seeds. The biotechnology - pesticide companies have not tested the novel seeds for health damaging effects to humans and other animals, and not allowed it to be either regulated or the public to know which foods contain these Genetically Modified Organisms and which do not.

Native Americans did not create this dumb ass technology. Monsanto did!

As far is feces is concerned. It may have originally been organic, but since GMO's go through the digestive tract intact of animals and people, even feces may not be safe to use as fertilizer, because it may spread GMO's. Think about it!

...and how come there is a difference between Genetically Modified Organisms (GMO) and Genetically Engineered Food (GEF)? Sounds like two sides of the same coin to me!

I have the same question... and it's crazy to think that buy purchasing an "organic" product, you're still getting gmo... huh?

this brand DOES not have any GMO foods, duh, look up the USDA code of conduct. Silly Silly Silly. O'well...

GMO is not optimal in any way - the science will come. Peoples Liveers are not coping will with GMP - but if you don't put laws in now for managing it then it will be too late.

The submissive response is to surrender and eat any of the crap these companies produce. The cynical response is to claim that, in this day and age, most politicians, sport stars, entertainment celebrities, and so on, are seldom as personable or as honest as promoted. Why would food be any different? The cynical response is to claim that, in this day and age, most politicians, sport stars, entertainment celebrities, and so on, are seldom as personable or as honest as promoted. Why would food be any different? It's no secret that slapping food product packaging with the proclamation that it's ORGANIC (given the somewhat lax or at least not strictly enforced FDA guidelines for that) is really just a ploy for dollars. O$G$N$C. Then, when a company seems to have confirmed it is "organic", but is really a cheat, well, that just supports the whole conclusion that the system is corrupt and few can be trusted. Santa Cruz, an "organic" company, hobknobbing with Monsanto. Gee, that's what they call a RED FLAG. That's like discovering that an idealistic, untainted animal rights group has been meeting for strategy marketing with the Pork Growers of America.
One answer: drastically reduce the purchase of products from major producers. Make your own. It's gratifying, it's usually more healthful, on balance it's usually cheaper, and for those reasons it's good revenge. As far as it's practical, I'll walk an extra mile to save a dollar on the crap at the standard neighborhood grocery store so I can buy something that meets quality standards at my food co-op.

Right on Rachel ! :) Probably the most power of people/the masses dealing with all corporations,companies,governments... ect... They will make only produce what they can sell... The addiction to things "we want" and do not need is biggest trouble to getting us all to do The right thing...Smartest thing for our healthiest survival .... CHOICE=POWER ! :) like

Sure, but if consumers are lulled into believing the hype they hand out, they will continue to buy the products. We won't ALL be dead, and as long as there is someone, somewhere to buy, they don't care.
