How do you break up a corporate entity..don't buy the products but we are being denied that right because we don't know what's in the products. How dumb are the people in California?
I don't buy the products of companies who have contributed to keep the public controlled and ignorant. I only buy from companies I know and trust, but actually I buy little processed foods.
this brand DOES not have any GMO foods, duh, look up the USDA code of conduct. Silly Silly Silly. O'well...
...and how come there is a difference between Genetically Modified Organisms (GMO) and Genetically Engineered Food (GEF)? Sounds like two sides of the same coin to me!
I have the same question... and it's crazy to think that buy purchasing an "organic" product, you're still getting gmo... huh?
All food is organic!
So is fecies. I signed the petition, but corn was genetically modified by Native Americans.
Corn was not genetically modified by Native Americans. Genetic modification which has occurred since the early 1990's and has been on the market and widely distributed since 1996, was created using an organism from another species such as E-coli or another equally toxic bacteria, or soil pathogen --in the case of corn and cotton. Every cell in the DNA of corn has replicated this soil pathogen, which is toxic to all animals that ingest it. And humans are of the animal kingdom, meaning it is...

Using Bt sparingly the way organic farmers or native Americans may have done is not the same as changing the building blocks of life of seeds. The biotechnology - pesticide companies have not tested the novel seeds for health damaging effects to humans and other animals, and not allowed it to be either regulated or the public to know which foods contain these Genetically Modified Organisms and which do not.
Native Americans did not create this dumb ass technology. Monsanto did!
As far is feces is concerned. It may have originally been organic, but since GMO's go through the digestive tract intact of animals and people, even feces may not be safe to use as fertilizer, because it may spread GMO's. Think about it!
Should I even respond to "Bunny Snow"? I don´t get in to arguements with bunnys or avitars.
My nickname is Bunny, a name I've had for 70 years!
Sorry, nuff said.
GMO is not optimal in any way - the science will come. Peoples Liveers are not coping will with GMP - but if you don't put laws in now for managing it then it will be too late.

We're all going to be genetically-modified organisms (GMO), as the corporations do as they please - with us as their lab rats... sad state of affairs in the U.$.A.
I think there's a film called " The Monsanto Story". Sure u watched it already, what did you think of it? Good doc ?
I prefer to do my own recipes!
If by that, you mean 'grow your own' ---- then you better start looking into 'heirloom seeds' (BEFORE all this crap started) REAL SOON!
Liars come in all shapes and forms but we've known about Monsanto "raping" farmers and consumers for quite a few years, but guess who has the most money to by their own lies? Ugh. More of the same---money and politics,
Leslii McCaskill You might be interested in checking out the Cornucopia Institute... right out of the Coulee region. They are doing good work. http://www.cornucopia.org
I used to buy Smucker's products because of the quality - although I always thought that they could have used a better name. Now I realize that I would be a schmuck to continue to support them. Today it is unfortunate that we have to spend so much time researching before we can take a bite of anything.
