Least we can do for an amazing person. So sorry for your loss.
Ken, my sincere sympathy to you and your family. I knew Gary thru my work at the Crime Lab (retired now) and my ex husband is a Sgt with the SO. He was a great guy. God Bless you and your family.

In Law Enforcement we're all brothers/sisters...he was our brother too. My condolences to you and your family for your loss
I did not know your Brother. However, I do know many like him. Throughout the time of mourning and during the grief process, the bond between everyone in the criminal justice system is solidified. There are no jurisdictional boundaries, and there are no strangers. Everyone shares the loss, and everyone feels the pain and sorrow. Wide reaching support is extended to the families of those left behind. Of course, my heart goes out to you and your family. Everyone tries to remain strong and...

I would recommend Midway Road which is scheduled to be expanded and is directly in front of SLSO as opposed to Oleander. I understand the reasoning behind Oleander but the unincorporated portion is not a flattering site.
Great suggestion Kurt!
nothing is flattering about all of it, The SO on Midway Rd was named after Steve (who I loved) So can we not name Oleander after Gary, I did not know him personally but want all to be respected, I thank Lisa for all she is doing ....Sorry we do not all live out of the city???
God everyday for what
Sean Badwin and Dennis Mcwilliams did for Jimmy and Grover Cooper
that would be Chief Baldwin and Dennis Mcwilliams, computer sucks, I say go for it, I appreciate all they have done, Name that road after Sgt Gary Morales ....and get over Midway Rd...
Stick with your plan
I made the change to the petition to have Midway Rd renamed. Thank you all for your support of this cause.
Hugs to Michelle.
MY PRAYERS ARE WITH U GUYS N UR FAMILY. MYHEART GOES OUT TO ALL OF U! LOVE U GUYS XOOXOXO.
Gary ( FOO FOO) we will love you forever and I PROMISE we will never FORGET YOU and I am one to say yes to Midway road because of SLSO.
My family will never forget you..
Didn't know him, but as a brother Law Enforcement officer, don't need to. As I have mutual friends of his, I know his character and what he stood for. Re-naming a road or highway in his name would be a good start. Maybe even some of the governmental properties would be a good thing to honor him with as another option too. He sacrificed himself..the least we can do is honor the memory of him. God bless
A man/officer with an infectious smile that made a difference in our schools and in our community. He touched lives in all walks of life some way or some how.My deepest sympathies to his beautiful family and to his fellow law enforcement officers. The good Lord above took another angel home.
I signed online but didn't see my name come up..>How can we make sure our signature counts?
