I work in Zouk Mosbeh and live in Hazmieh and Aley, so I have an interest in a good highway to the Bekaa, BUT, preserving nature and (in you believe in God) protecting the Creator's gift to us is more important. In both meanings of the word, this project is a SIN!

Access to the Beq'aa is an understandable economic importance, however, with little nature left in Lebanon, it's a shame that we aren't looking into alternatives, and to the future, to save what little is left. Over construction, over hunting, garbage pollution, disregard, and disrespect for our natural heritage sites is equal to the destruction of our civil society. It's shameful.
