Wow, this made me teary. I'm so happy they got back together.
I know, right--those eyes. :)
You can call it whatever you want, it was a true blessing that sent him to that webpage that night. I have been sent to a webpage twice for a pet and both times have found a wonderful companion. Dogs do not forget those who are kind to them. Dogs will forgive those who abuse them. This si a very heart warming story and I am so happy that he has a home to rest in for the rest of his natural life.

was crying reading this story. sad and happy at the same time. All those years apart, found each other was very good Bless the both of them, hope they have many happy trails.
What bitch the wife must have been, that she would turn the pup over to the Humane Society, rather than to him.
At least she didn't stick her in a room with no food and water and starved her to death as the divorcing husband did to the dog the wife brought to the marriage. We ,as a species ,are a disgrace. Kids set their own dogs on fire "just to see what will happen". thank God Ginger found a place to live out her days. Or at least I hope that's what happened.
This was definitely Divine intervention! What a wonderful reunion!
What a great story!!
I love a "Happy Tears' story. Wishing you both great health & happiness in the next chapter of your lives. <3
So touching, tears are welling up, I'm so happy for Ginger and her owner!
What a great story, and what a sweet face Ginger has.... she was (and will continue to be) loved, as she deserves. I hope the former owners who had to give her up know she was reunited with "her first dad."
just wonderful how lucky are they to have found each other xxx.
