You dont see the writing on the wall? First its gun registration (easy way to know who has guns) then its gun confiscation. Not only will the Government take away your 2nd Amendment right but also your 4th as they barge into your house and take your guns away.

You shouldnt fear firearms, they are a tool just like a hammer. A firearm can help control a bad situation, while eliminating any threats.

As an officer in the US Army for 29 years, I was required to take an Oath of Office to defend the Constitution. This did not end when I retired. The present trend towards more gun control and restrictions of the rights of law abiding citizens is unconstitutional and treasonous. All of politicians that voted for the recent NYS gun control law are in violation of their Oaths of Office and should be tried in a court of law for treason. Let us get this started, before it is accepted as a norm....

It is our duty as american's as united state patriots that we stand in support of our brothers in NY to stand up and stop this attack on the UNITED STATES if they proceed in stopping the safety of New York and or fellow Americans then what state is next Cali and they will not stop tell they have stripped the power of the people and forced us into a second hand nation to be over powered by outside forces and inner deception. Leading to everything our nation was made of being destroyed.

“Laws that forbid the carrying of arms...disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes... Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than to prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man.” (Quoting Cesare Beccaria).

The beauty of the Second Amendment is that it will not be needed until they try to take it.

I only have one objection, and that's to the photo. That is a real life M16, not an AR15. As such, it is an automatic weapon. My signature is not to repeal the ban on the exchange of automatic weapons like the one pictured above, but rather the exchange of rifles that look almost identical to the one above, lacking only the ability to fire in automatic mode (as a machine gun). The way you can tell it's an M16 is by looking just above the hand grip. There is a round head part right above...

There is a round head part right above the grip, that has a line on it. It is the selecter switch that allows you to place the weapon if safe, fire, or automatic mode. An AR-15 doesn't have a word at the rear of that circle. That word is "auto" and only appears on military assault rifles.
My objection is not specifically to the private ownership of an M16, but rather that this image used in this manner could further the cause of confusing AR15s with "military-style assault weapons".
