Make it available on the local TV. The best way to send the message out would be LOCAL TV STATIONS & the News Papers. In the mean time some one could help him foster & also the Humane societies should send the picture via website.

How do you know it has an owner? Does the dog have a collar? Why would the police bring it in as a stray, if it isn't?

Someone has the guy’s name and address – police or dog warren. Because of the ticket owner couldn’t pay. Or find the address the dog was picked up and ask the neighbor’s if they know the dog. The dog control has the dog up for adoption already! This is so unfair.

But this is how dog control gets their money – catch a dog off their property (when no one is looking). In our town my Mother had a Sheppard that knew her property line. The neighbors on both side of the property love the dog. One day animal control picked up her dog while playing with the neighbors kids. Mom had to go to court and pay a fine, shelter fees and court cost.
