think of the men who are raped in prison but according to law in new york its not rape. it goes both ways. they need to change the law to rape is rape no matter what gender it happens to. and what hole they violate has nothing to do with it! its all rape...
What Sandy said!
That is most definitely true! It's time we stop deciding who is a victim based on the victim and based on laws that say violating a person is rape always.
Gender roles have broken down somewhat in forty years but many have yet to learn women are not property to be used at will. Men must feel an extra shame in that they are forced to feel they may be not only weak but homosexual.
why didn't she bite his dick off.
Rape is a violence act toward another person both female and male without permission for sexual desires. The rapist can either do it with force or slowly blackmails the victim.
I have to be honest, my friend got rape and now you need to prove that she was raped! She was raped, her virginity is gone and the whole public turns back against her!
Why that? Imagine someday you got rape and the court orders a proof, well I will just take my frigging pants off and show them!
This is ridiculous! I will stand for the rights of women!
Rape is a crime against human dignity and humanity. It violates one's privacy and leaves one broken, dejected, unclean and depressed. No one should force another to do something that they don't want to do or violate their body.
I commend this woman for standing her ground. It takes a great amount of courage to face the offender, family, friends and the general public that sits in the courtroom. I can't understand why the jury can't see that this is RAPE, PERIOD! As many had posted, rape IS A VIOLATION OF ONE'S PERSON. I do hope that together we can get the law in N.Y.changed.
hi, it's very sad to see this, they must be severe in your courts and punish him for a sentence.
Rape is a forced sexual assault/violation. It is always unwanted, nonsolicited and disgustingly detestible. It is never an action taken by a rational person. There is not excuse for any one or group of people to define such action as less than rape when it is rape. Look in the dictionary!
Forcing yourself or being forced by someone in actions against one's will is condemnable mostly when these forceful acts are committed with an absolute disregard for the targeted victim(s) and that such perpetrator has no qualms about doing it. A public consequential punishment would do good to discourage others to duplicate same. The important is making sure that the accused one is really guilty of such and not set up for personal revenge.
Mli says new laws rape is rape and that was horrible.
