Well then - someone should get a hold of Humane Society of United States(HSUS) and tell them to stop delaying things. There are bills (some known as Ag Gag bills) being proposed in many states The bill makes it a criminal offense (some states have changed it to civil) NOT to report animal abuse within 24 hours to LOCAL authorities. There are bills (some known as Ag Gag bills) being proposed in many states The bill makes it a criminal offense (some states have changed it to civil) NOT to report animal abuse within 24 hours to LOCAL authorities. Here in NH, it was also added that all UNEDITED video should be turned over to local authorities also Know who the main opponents of the bills are? HSUS, ASPCA, Mercy for Animals and a few other animal rights groups. HSUS' CEO even did an interview with ABC stating that if people had to report abuse to local authorities it wouldn't give HSUS time "to complete their investigations" This is not going to affect whistleblowers at all as HSUS is trying to say - it's only going to affect those that report to HSUS or some other animal rights groups instead of police.
Remember the "downed cow" case in 2009? Someone reported to HSUS about farms using downed cows and abuse of the cows. HSUS took 6 WEEKS to do their investigation (without reporting possible problems to anyone) and then, when they released their report said it was horrible and should be stopped immediately as this meat was being fed to our school children. Well, if HSUS was so concerned about "our children" or the animals, why did they allow this to go on for 6 weeks without reporting it?
Any abuse of agricultural, companion or entertainment animals should be REPORTED IMMEDIATELY - but to LOCAL AUTHORITIES who will have the power to do something. Not to HSUS.
Makes you wonder how many animals HAVE DIED because HSUS wanted a few more weeks to collect videotape and be able to do a big press release.

Dogs are the only creatures on earth that love us more than they love themselves. There must be a special kind of HELL waiting for anyone who would harm any animal.

Unfortunately people buy pets because they are small and cute then they grow up and voila they are just there to feed most don't take them to the Vets to have a check-up or their shots or let them run loose then you see them dead on the side of the road. Nobody cares

I always report any animal being abused and put a stop to it any way I can.
