Thanks to law-abiding, Islamic civil rights/advocacy organizations like CAIR, these Muslim students and their parents know their rights:

When confronted with the facts, Jennifer C Call claims I'm "annoying her".

Nothing more annoying than those pesky facts to piss-off a lying Islamaphobe.

Kate Tsubata:

I respectfully contacted this woman off-line (i.e. messaging) as people tend to be more rational if you approach them respectfully. I was trying to find out her point of view. She tells me that she graduated from high school in `61 (ok....she's a minute older than me), but she went to public school in Europe! In the meantime, I sent her the FACTS for read involving prayer in public schools in the US up to 1962 and 1962 to present. She claimed that the SCOTUS banned prayer in...

In the meantime, I sent her the FACTS for read involving prayer in public schools in the US up to 1962 and 1962 to present. She claimed that the SCOTUS banned prayer in public schools and, therefore, it was illegal for the Muslim students of Parkdale to be allowed to pray in an empty classroom.

However, when I sent the FACTS that completely contradicted her basis for making such a foolish petition, she completely ignored the FACTS and claimed I was annoying her. I wasn't "annoying" before I sent those FACTS, though.... and we'd been respectfully communicating since Thursday.....

Galen Muhammad: While Wiki isn't the "most reliable source" of info, I found this piece which does address the facts and timeframe in which you stated that you enrolled in public school.

Jennifer C Call (the petition initiator/instigator): America doesn't have a national religion.I am very aware of that. It also BANS prayer in school, as per the Supreme Court. SO NO ONE SHOULD BE ALLOWED TO PRAY! No one.

You are being very annoying so stop messaging me.

11:55am
Galen Muhammad: ....that is....no Muslims are mentioned as petitioners against people praying, privately, in public schools. There, in fact, exists no such laws against privately praying in public schools. And that's my whole point to you, Jennifer.

Jennifer......re-read the piece I JUST sent to your. It does NOT ban prayer. It bans "school/state-sponsored prayer". It's as plain as the broad nose on my face.

Oh....now civil dialog/the FACTS are NOW bothering you......

After I considered it, I realized that no one really wanted to hear about that....

Everyone should have the right to pray in school or anywhere else, regardless of belief system. The Supreme court often makes bad decisions, ignore them.

No....we should all follow the law, until and IF it is changed. The decision the SCOTUS made regarding stating the state/school sponsored prayer in public schools was not only a correct one, but an appropriate one.

Galen Muhammad ; Would you say the same thing if a different religion were involved? One religion doesn't often respect the rights of another, and all of them never notice the similarities are greater than the differences.

Here's what you're FAILING to grasp: The Muslim students are conducting a prayer in an empty room (i.e. no non-Muslim students are involved).

Also, what you're FAILING to grasp is that ALL of the religions observed by this student body ARE involved! There is no particular time for Christians to hold prayers. They simply bow their heads and pray. These student may also pray whenever they choose to pray.

Even more sad is the fact that you seem to be in league with the person who's making unfounded claims about the SCOTUS that simply just aren't based in reality.

Again, read the conclusion of my correspondence with the petitioner. She is VERY bigoted and closed-minded AGAINST the TRUTH as it applies to U.S. History and the SCOTUS. She's like the proverbial pit bull..... She's jaw-locked onto that lie and won't let go.....no matter what facts I presented to her!
:O

Besides the obvious, the Muslim students are also AMERICANS, too!! And they have the right to pray there.... just as every student in public school has!!

Here's one for those claiming (lying) that "because God was 'taken out of the schools' (which He WASN'T), we're having these school shootings":

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances. BASICALLY, you cant take away the first amendment right.

Prayer is not banned from schools. Government employees are prohibited from leading students in prayer. If students want to pray, they can pray.

Tons of stupid Christians in this thread.
