Leave our flag alone. Leave our heritage alone. Leave our history alone. To those that come to Australia and try to change us. Do not and if you still do go home to your own country LEAVE US ALONE!!!!. It's our history and our future. We are one but we are many.

The idea was by an Australian group. No need to mouth off and tell immigrants they aren't welcome.

Many men and women died for our flag, to change it would be saying they fought for nothing.

The Australian National Flag is raised every morning at the school in Villers-Bretonneux in France, in memory of the thousands of Australian casualties in liberating their village in 1917 (during the First World War).

This is our flag, this is what our defence force fought for all those years ago, to stand up and be noticed, for freedom and to be proud too be called an Aussie, we have had so much taken away from us in Australia, and over run by foreign countries. Keep your hands of our flag and our nation, I am proud too be an Australian. We are all one, in one land and one law.

Our flag represents ALL Australians, yes that includes the indigenous, so why change it. We have done everything to recognise those of aboriginal descent as it is so don't give our truly national flag, the one that our diggers fought for over 2 World Wars. I like many other Australians lost relatives to both wars and I know their fight was not in vain while thos flag flies proudly atop the many flagpoles on our national monuments and buildings.

Yes Sue, we do, but there is those who want a change as per the Press Nationaly Reported, so this will be BULK Dropped on the Laps of Every Polly plus the Governor General who is our Head of Australia, stating Clearly, We Do Not Want Any Change - 1/2 Million Signed must place some leverage as at the rate it's moving will have in a few months time.

I am so sorry that they want to devalue you flag. New is not always better, and frankly the new design is hideously ugly. Fine for a video game; not as a symbol of tradition and pride.

Hope they can value what Australian men fight for just to protect your country. Then what is the use for the new flag? That flag right now that Australia is using is the History of your country so must be preserve not should be change! Yea and that flag also the pride of your country so must NOT change it! Symbol must be treassured forever.
