I am old now and I deeply regret having participated in trapping, 70 yrs later. The visions of my inflicted agonies and inhumanity plague me still as few others of my sins do. To those who still trap, stop it. If you don't regret it yet, you will… grievously. To those who work to stop it, keep up the good fight and recall that we are still in an "awkward phase" in human development, but change is inevitable.

Regarding "justice for the unborn": I consider the term to be an alarmingly ignorant and inhuman one, betraying a stupefying lack of compassion… and grace.

Seabury, at least you are speaking out against this now. Too late for some animals but maybe will change a few minds out there. We learn from our mistakes. I'm going to borrow your comment if you don't mind, with credit to you. Other trappers should see this and I think you ARE trying to get the word out.

Do the traps come with reading instructions for anything or anybody who you do Not want to catch in the trap. Is there a recording that can sense it when children at play come around? Are we back in the Middle Ages?

Trapping is so archaic, let's get out of the dark ages and realize animals feel pain just as you and I do. For those of you who continue the barbaric act of trapping, just try it once. Stick your arm or leg in a trap, if you enjoy it, by all means, keep on trapping. If it causes you pain, as it does the animal you are trapping, STOP IT! You are all a bunch of losers who deserve no place in society....

Makes me so sad and mad that people can be so cruel to any animal and it is up to us all to voice our anger at those who make the laws email you local politician and get his support.
