You boycott Tyson and you might better resign yourself to eating vegetables since they own several other companies that you might not even know about. One of my favorite foods in the world is foie gras. It is goose(or sometimes duck) liver. The liver is fattened, enlarged and made better by sticking a tube down the animal's throat and force feeding the animal a diet that has been perfected over several centuries. Having tasted it and loving it the way I do, I pray God is not a goose.
No thanks. I will not boycott tyson. The kicking and punching of pigs was at the SUPPLIERS, NOT Tyson. Boycott the suppliers.
Joining the effort.
WILL NOT BUY TYSON..
If you eat animals, you support inhumane treatment of animals. There is no humane killing and eating; just differing depths of cruelty.
I don't eat that much pork. I buy my meats from Whole Foods. If I have to buy chicken somewhere else, I buy Perdue.
Before you listen to the folks that are telling you to "Go Vegan!" make sure you talk to a doctor (one with a Ph.D! Not necessarily a dietitian. You don't need to be a doctor to be a dietitian!) The vegan/vegetarian lifestyle, while a nice ideal, isn't actually healthy for everyone. Serious complications can arise if you aren't getting the necessary nutrients out of food and supplements (which can happen.)
Nick Christian: do you know the difference with the words "board" and "bored"? The "board" may be used to hit you over the head when you were too "bored" to stay awake in English class!
I don't use Tyson products at all!
I haven't purchased Tyson products for years after hearing that they used to make their assembly line workers wear diapers so that they would not have to walk off of the assembly line. Tyson's business practices are pure EVIL!
