EVERYONE LIVES DOWNSTREAM FROM EVERYONE! You poison some water in one area and cause a ripple effect to such an immense degree. Stop raping our Earth for profits and have some respect. You wouldn't have life with the Earth. Do what you are responsible to do in order to save our environments, water, and future generations.

A solution to MTR must start now before the big, mostly out of state energy companies level the 25% of West Virginia that is slated for coal extraction. To experience one of the most powerful anti-MTR voicees (Larry Gibson of Kayford, WV, sadly, just recently deceased), check out this narrative poem, which highlights Larry's experience living with and battling MTR: http://www.stilljournal.net/bill-king-textual-sampling.php.

It is a travesty. When I went down to Phelps Kentucky with Merle Wolford back in the mid 80's there was a lot of damage then. They were starting to fill in the Mountain valleys with a slurry mix of cement and ash from coal fired electric plants--ugly in deed, besides being another source of radioactive, and heavy. This is why I join hands with all those standing against the reapers who are in shameful ignorance or smug denial of their Earthly/Cosmic connection & dependency. They would reap...

They would reap to fill their personal void, leaving present and future generations, (including their own progeny), with the shaft! It is absolutely pitiful. No it's not time to mine and dump on Wisconsin; it's time change mind sets!!! What a wonderful Wisconsin, what a beautiful Earth. S0 worth our efforts--we will prevail, staying connected to one another and our Higher Source . . .Many Good thoughts/prayers; Love to All. ~ Karen Harvey
