I can only agree with the second point of this petition. The 3rd point is not valid because only those who have made multiple accounts should be punished not everyone who uses the page. While I do not believe in the reckless killing of wolves I do believe in the freedom of speech. Also I have visited one of their pages and while a lot of the page is devoted to hating wolves they have informative stuff as well like videos on how to trap wolves. Your petition is simply an attempt to silence...

Your petition is simply an attempt to silence those who have a different opinion then you. Also the whole Native American racism is bullshit you used to get facebook to remove their pages. I found no comments racist towards Native Americans on the page which leads me to believe you are saying it is racist towards Native Americans to kill wolves which is simply not true. This whole petition is an attempt to silence those who you disagree with you. You disgust me.

Look at the screen shots on this petition. They certainly are racist against Native Americans, and many others. And I said their actions are OFFENSIVE to many Native American tribes who are trying to protect the wolves that live on their land, that they consider to be brothers. This has nothing to do with free speech. Free speech has its limits, and one of them is torture. When these behaviors are posted on a public forum with content standards, they are no longer protected under the blanket...

And there are many other "informative" sites where you can learn about trapping and hunting that don't promote torture and cruelty.

commenting about torture on a social networking site isn't torture. So free speech still applies here. If you do not like what they say don't read it. Instead make a save the wolves page instead of attacking someone for having a different point of view.

I was under the notion that wolf trapping and killing in the US was illegal, b/c they have become an endangered species.

It was, but they were delisted in 2011 due to pressure from ranchers and farmers. It's all about money.

To celebrate animal torture and murder, is like turning your back on light of life and embracing darkness. As for the argument put forward by Dan Weyler, " that he kills every snake he finds, because if he puts one in a play-pen with his child it will injure/kill him/her" that an empty argument. Why not leave snakes alone, but make sure they don't become a plaything of your child, that way your child is uninjured and the snake can lead it's life in peace!!!

Because that would be logical, and these people don't operate from places of logic and reason :)

Unless your name is Le Petit Chaperon Rouge, the chance to be a wolf supper is quite thin, no ?

Wolves are a beautiful animal, and in some cases have been made into pets. I love animals and never want any of them to be hurt by man.
The people that do these kinds of things to any animal are sick. They should go see a psychiatrist. They must be mean hateful people to do such a thing.

No good just removing the page - the people need to be found and stopped 'Out of sight, Out of Mind' will not stop it from continuing....

I've signed; but how do my non-facebook member family sign? They're as angry as I am about this. However, I've noticed a lot of anti wolf programmes coming on recently - programmes where people are heard saying that wolves are vicious and attack humans without provocation (mind you these are all trappers and hunters saying this). This couldn't be further from the truth - but how do we actually spread the TRUTH about these beautiful wolves?

We need to get as much media air time as they get. It's that simple. The media controls the information. I'm hoping this petition, along with others, will let the media know that this is an important issue and the truth needs to be told.

We would know about it by reading the newspaper or opening our eyes in our communities. This behavior is nothing new. It does not need to be on a social network, which supposedly has content standards, for children to see. These people use facebook to find other people like themselves and then compete for who can be the most brutal. No one is saying we shouldn't take action against them, or to ignore that they exist. We are trying to take steps to help the animals. This is just one of those...

We are trying to take steps to help the animals. This is just one of those steps. We need to remove their lifeline to each other so they can't find power in numbers. What doesn't help the animals to find justice is when people spend time to post negative remarks to people who clearly are trying to affect change, instead of taking action themselves. "Be the change you want to see" - Gandhi.
