Sorry to see this site sellling out to corporate interests. Kashi = GMO, and until they change that, I cannot support anything they do, regardless of whatever "wash" they want to put on it. They're only truly interested in their bottom line, otherwise they would change their position on GMO's.

I am on a low salt diet. 99% of the canned and packaged foods where I shop are loaded with sodium. Frozen veggies are better than canned. Fresh is even better, but not always available in winter. I have to make chili from scratch, and tomato sauce, and all my soups. It's nice to be able to grab things off the shelf at the store, but I spend most of my time reading labels, and putting things back on the shelf (rejected). The up-side is that it forces me to be creative.

The problem of street children is a complex one that calls for a comprehensive and coordinated policy and program for intervention at all levels and in all sectors of society. Alleviating poverty and rebuilding the family institution should be among the first steps in addressing the problem.Gives an in-depth picture of the realities of life for the thousands of street children in Nairobi, who are only one component of the growing worldwide problem of homeless children.

As kinship relationships and support networks across family lines weaken with modernization, economic stressors take a great toll on children. kisii Kenya, like some other nations in Africa and around the globe, has witnessed a rapid rise in street children. The street children in kisii come from single parent families which are mostly headed by women. Another group are AIDS orphans. This study documents how street children in kisii follow survival strategies including (for boys) collecting garbage, and (for girls), prostitution. Gender is emphasized throughout the book.my contacts are job nyangau po box 646 kisii kenya my email is [email protected] my mobile no is +254711432843.

You see I think its kinda like that movie 5th element. Those nutrition facts on the back of products are what's known as vitamins and minerals. These are considered the essential nutrients category. well you can die from a lot of shit and not just from disease etc. disease to me may be an essential element not mentioned that exist. for instance, have you ever seen a person with a "malnutrition", or just a lack of iron for that matter. what if there was too much calcium? all of these have to...

You see I think its kinda like that movie 5th element. Those nutrition facts on the back of products are what's known as vitamins and minerals. These are considered the essential nutrients category. well you can die from a lot of shit and not just from disease etc. disease to me may be an essential element not mentioned that exist. for instance, have you ever seen a person with a "malnutrition", or just a lack of iron for that matter. what if there was too much calcium? all of these have to balanced and cannot be if they are not considering all of the ESSENTIAL vitamins and minerals. This is extremely important because no matter how fucking healthy you eat, its not going to do you any good if ALL ESSENTIAL vitamins-key word vital, minerals -key words minimal or at least; are not PRESENT to make up a WELL BALANCED meal. Now, search the world of cures and ailments, fountains of youth, and the ultimate keys to immortality, why the price of gold is so high, and all that utta shit and holla back.

It most certainly does cost more. I have celiac and diabetes and I must buy only healthy gluten-free foods and prepare all meals at home. I can't just buy a bag of dry beans because I don't know how they were grown or stored. Everything has to be scrutinized. It's expensive and a little over-whelming sometimes.
