Honestly... we need less racism all around. Not just first nations. This seems a bit self righteous and racist to me..

Haven't our First Americans suffered enough? Together we can end racism and hate speech against First Nations peoples on Facebook.

Educating people on the different cultures through-out the world will help to understand other races & help eradicate racism in our children. I have seen racism go from outright racist remarks & actions to a more subtle form of racism, it is, however present. Outright racism is still present in different areas, & this is where understanding is needed. We should, however, NEVER SEE RACISM PRACTISED BY THE GOVERNMENT! This should not be tolerated in any form.

'of"---while all the time IGNORING THAT WE ARE ALSO HUMAN BEINGS BEING MADE FUN OF. "We aren't dumb----we are just numb"===I feel many times when I open facebook pages, we are characterized as large dumb and ugly looking wooden carved statues of dimestore Indians or tobacco store "WOODEN INDIAN CHIEF" so others could make fun of us. This insulting treatment comes directly from people's current lives revealing to me that if some were eager on Facebook, we could begin to clean up all the racists nasty messages. Sadly, in our society today, American Indians are "let go" from teaching jobs at Portland Comm College and Chemeketa Comm College (among many others) while these same colleges replace American Indian instructors with white people. Who owns American Indian cultures anyway? Rea that book by Michael F. Brown. Help us by signing petitions like this. We are all one nation, we may be different on the outside but I like to think we are all the same in the inside. I pray to the creator that he will help those who are ignorant.
