As a long time member of the NRA, and an AMERICAN who deeply believes in my 2nd Amendment Rights as a very conscientious gun owner and user (targets only, no animals, or people!), my heart goes out to those families and friends of those lost at Newtown, Sandy Hook, Fort Hood, Columbine, Sparks, and others, but we need more than worthless regulations and banning guns from responsible sportsmen (and women), we need help for these people that might show signs of instability, suicide, and other...

Since those conclusions could possibly be bad, we don't need ANY of them. Screw it, let's just throw free thinking right out the door. None of that in this country, any possibly bad decision means we...

I mean seriously, people? I don't mean to offend or insult anyone, but that is the exact form of logic you're attempting to use to support this. I'm just as shocked, overwhelmed and disgusted that such poor people and children had to suffer so don't, for a single second, assume I lack empathy towards the sufferer and the witness... but you're just trying to point the finger of blame instead of accepting that bad people do bad things and it's been that way since the dawn of humanity.

Don't use the word retard so freely. My son is mentally retarded with Down Syndrome. The word retard means slow. I take offense at people like you using it out of context.

Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has.
