As an animal rights advocate I use my VOICE to work with my Iowa State Legislature and our Congress. It is so important that we work with Congress and educate the public around our wildlife and environment. Because what happens to them happens to us. Let all of US animal companion lovers and animal right advocates network together in all groups to help save our ENVIRONMENT and the ANIMALS that live within it. What we do to them, we do to ourselves. We must also think about eating a healthier plant based diet. It is better for us, animals and our environment. We will become much healthier, it will save more animal lives and our environment will be much cleaner. I know I am trying to make better choices by eating less meat and living healthier. When I think about just the little things I can do that can make a difference in animals lives, weather it's on a farm or writing to my state senators, it's all worthwhile if I can get their attention, make them think about it and change the laws. We have a VOICE, We can use it and the will Hear US!

Our wildlife is being cleared off our public land at unprecedented levels. Hunters and trappers are doing the killing but other special interests groups are pulling the strings. We must save the wolves and other wild animals before our forests are destroyed and silenced forever.

I'll do all I can to help protect & save wolves. For I know that if we should fail we will lose them once & for all!

Mike great that you've done that... The fact that we have to fight to end this barbarity still makes my head spin.. I have contacted my representatives here in Oregon not just on this issue, but the seal issue, coyote issue and horse slaughter issue.. and I thought I lived in a progressive state... seriously eff'd up country we live in now. Only 6% of the people that live in the US ( As of December 1, 2012, the United States had a total resident population of 315,068,000, million) seem to...

Only 6% of the people that live in the US ( As of December 1, 2012, the United States had a total resident population of 315,068,000, million) seem to dictate the murder of so many innocent animals... and for what? Yeah right no hunting and gathering necessary since we murder 60 billion land animals a year for a food source... we are such an eff'd up people here. so glad I am Vegan and don;t contribute to these systemic atrocities...

Every animal should receive love, care and RESPECT - and be able to live in an environment that is suited to their specific needs - away from greedy, selfish, thoughtless humans. God bless ALL animals! xo xo xo xo xo xo.

Here in Minnesota, this is exactly what we are currently working on. Some 80% of Minnesotans are opposed to the hunting, trapping and snaring of ma'iingan (wolf) that has been going on in this state since early November. Compared to other states in the U.S., people here are somewhat more educated about non-human predators, and I believe we stand a good chance of stopping this hunt. I would like to respectfully point out that I think that people in other countries CAN make an impact in the US...

Compared to other states in the U.S., people here are somewhat more educated about non-human predators, and I believe we stand a good chance of stopping this hunt. I would like to respectfully point out that I think that people in other countries CAN make an impact in the US if they write some of these congresspeople in key states- MN, MICHIGAN- where they are currently moving towards a hunt, WI, ID, WY and MT. If there would be interested in doing this, we can work on getting a list together for people. You can contact us through the Northwoods Wolf Alliance, on Facebook if you'd be willing to help out in this way. Miigwech (thanks).
