Nick Dyer: Why so hostile? Should every state have every kind of industry and every type of vocation within its borders? Should Hawaii have an auto plant? Should Alaska have cotton fields? Should there be a White House, Capitol Bldg. and Pentagon in every state? I don't think that's practical, let alone necessary.

The film commissioner needs to follow tax and permit trends in order for Hollywood to be competitive with other states - in the end of the day, the buck decides where to go.

What really has to happen is that the those at the State Capital Have to to pass tax breaks to compete with right to work States and Canada.It would only bring in much needed tax revenue......If I we're a Producer how Could I make the most money.....not shoot in California with all it's Road Blocks.......
