i sent an email about 30 minutes ago and just got this reply back from the ACS Diector: Dostana:

Thank you for your concern for our pets. You appear to have some misinformation. All of our pets are listed on our website – including those at our Brooks Facility. I am happy to tell you that we’ve reached a live release rate of 83% - and that is in part due to having the additional space at Brooks. Prior to having the Brooks location, we were hovering around 30% live release.

With respect to the injured pet, we received reports from the public yesterday that he had a broken leg. We transported him to our main campus for medical evaluation. He has a broken toe nail and a slightly swollen pad. No broken bones. He is being treated for the toe/pad issue. As you may know, we have a vet technician on staff at the Brooks location. All of our pets – more than 35,000 last year - receive a high standard of care from our medical team.

Brooks is an important part of our program, as such, our rescue groups, fosters and volunteers are at Brooks daily working with our pets and finding them great homes. If you or someone you know is interested in adopting or fostering a great pet, please send them our way. We would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks, again, for your concerns.

Kathy Davis broke her own policies with this one. In her policies all sick, expecting, or injured dogs are to go to 151 Main facility. He was brought in on the 13 of this month. Kathy Davis was sent several emails about this dog, before yesterday. Her reply was that there were no injured dogs at Brooks. It wasn't until she was emailed the video and pictures that she sent for him to be taken to 151 Main facility.

How do I contact Jami Fleming (Cause Leader)? I have some questions that I do not want posted in public thread.

Please don't kill this dog or anymore dogs. Please look at his face, this dog wants a family & to be loved.

ANYONE who works in a kill shelter or any politician who support their atrocities should be considered a criminal.

Let's sign and invite our friends let's blow the petition sky high and let San Antonio's city government know people are wanting a change to Brooks!

This city is supposedly run by "Progressives" yet this is just one example as to how "Regressive" San Antonio really is.
