WELCOME to Attiwapiskat First Nations. I see the words "First Nations" & I feel embarrassed they are left like this. Living without electricity, plumbing, or too much else has cost lives & taken away livelihood. Ironically right under them is a diamond mine. Truthfully, those minerals belong to the people who rightfully own the land, so its not a matter of 'a poor government,' as our govy is putting up that 400 PLUS million dollar HUMAN RIGHTS MUSEUM.

The museum is going under the noses of the very homeless from places like Attawapiskat, who will be wandering aimlessly with no place to go? Our governmant has become a cocky mess of lies. That's not it...then they along with the media, tried to incriminate Chief Theresa Spence as being a lazy leader who squandered the money on herself. The money the govt gave them to survive, could barely make a dent in the dirt roads with some concrete. Setting them up for failure isn't working. Being IDLE NO MORE, the youth are tired of being poor.

If they knew...their people own so many resources...Canada has a rich landscape loaded with provisions. The govt gave them their reserve in a swamp. THIS IS JUST ONE...my neighbor across the hall is from Lake StMartins, which is totally flood ravaged and the people have disbanded. We cannot afford to loose culture anywhere in the world. I stood for this a year ago...writing, trying to help...I cried..I felt so powerless as to what to do, as it went unnoticed. Truthfully, the people themselves had to create the movement and I'm SO HAPPY to follow in support. I will do all I can.

That's why I get mad sometimes. I had a debate with a teacher in class about the 'we are all treaty people' b.s. poster in the classroom....Govy spends on glossy posters to convince us? we are all treaty people? The HR museum will not house the homeless people with gleaming starry eyes...lost nations wanting to re-connect where it was viciously disconnected couple hundred years ago. I see it...the pain. In their eyes, and I want to hug them...so many lately, groups with backpacks. Nice happy people, lost on their own land. We cant have it. It is changing and its going to be fast. Harper will get boxed in with the Queen right beside him, and they will have to answer some questions, no question about it.

Can we not expect the Canadian Government consider the case with rational compassion and from point of humanity. Hope Canadian government would show to the world community of nations that the country is run by Rational beings.

In a time when we live in one of the riches country in the world, First Nations People have always been treated as Second Class Citizens. History tell us how the Oppressed newcomers to Turtle Island became the Oppressors which still exists today. Human Rights violations still exist in a country where all are supposedly created equal. Violations of Treaties, Broken Promises, Violation of United Nations Rights of Indigenous Peoples, Marginalization, Segregation and Racism still exisits in...
