He is a special Marine--Please sign the Petition--
He is protecting our children.
That alone deserves your signature!
how do you know ?i don.t see any evidence to your claim.if you personally have evidance that he is not who he claims to be then produce it 1if not back the f up !!! waiting for your info.corrrine.
Datlene, Just google his name + liar, or fake.
What I read is this man have been in the marine, but been what he claims. He've been asked to leave the school because marine are not authorized to wear military clothes out of their duty.
It doesnt matter. He is making the school children and parents feel safer.
The above link to the Huffington Post verified that he lied about his service record and he wore his uniform in public which is against Marine Corp policy so I understand why he's in a little trouble, but his intentions were honorable. I signed the petition. I don't believe he should be persecuted for what he did. I think that's taking it a bit far. A reprimand should be sufficient.
Really Jeffe I mean Really. The very reason you get to sleep in peace at night is becasue US Marines fight for you even though they don't know you but we yes we and they fight so that you may sleep at night in peace yes PEACE. So shut you mouth till you can realize what you right really is!!!!
i sign in
I'm concerned that so many don't see anything wrong that this former Marine and was never a Sgt and has never deployed.
We, in the military, have rules and regulations to work and live by. Our standards are higher than what civlians hold themselves to.
Kathleen, He is not a Sgt in the Marine Corps. In fact, he didn't finish his first year before being discharged. He never deployed, he never left the Marine Corps Recruit Depot in San Diego. He violated uniform regulations. He is in trouble.
Jeffrey S Austin Thank you. I have been cursed six ways to Mexico trying to point this out. It got so bad I ended up erasing my comments. I feel better after reading your posts.
Because so few Americans have ever served in the military do they understand that the standards of conduct are firm and unwavering. But, every servicemember has the UCMJ, Uniform Code of Military Justice that protects the rights of each.
Jeffrey S Austin back in dark old days, when I was in, ( they used bayonets and horses then and the electronics had vacuum tubes) you didn't leave base in fatigues. They call them bdu's now I think, unless you went directly to your off base residence, no shopping, no stopping to fill up the gas tank, no nothing.
Jeffrey S Austin , thank you for bringing this to my attention. I "Googled" his name & found that you are correct. I'm sorry to say that I was naive in believing without checking it out, first. Thank you
You have my yes Vote! Just like the words say "Our Finest taking a stand"! This is great. Thank you Craig for taking a stand for what is right and you have alot of support. Merry Christmas to you...
When I read this story I could not believe it .. I was dumbfounded ..I still am I just can't believe it .thank you so much for the support xx
shelly do your research it was all a fake get up story he's not a seargant and never deployed
No matter ones rank we all should be greatful for each an every one of our military! Shame on you! (GOD will be the. Judge not. U or me. I will support each an every member of the armed forces.
I could understand it a little better if he was armed with rifles, machine guns, grenades, and maybe even a tank...but this man had no weapons and only stood out in front of a school where children could feel safe to attend. After what happened last week at Sandy Hook, I know that I'm a grown woman and would be afraid to attend a school, and these are children between 5 and 10 yrs old...they would be terrified...I know if this would have been in front of my grandbabies school he would have...

I also see many, many people in camo fatigues when they are just out maybe shopping or just running around town, and haven't been to anything military events that day, and they aren't thrown in prison, fined, and stamped dishonorable. And last doesn't our own President have Secret Service following him, his wife, and his two children around to protect them. Well we can't afford Secret Service to protect our children, and/or grandchildren but we still like to know they are safe every day when they are away from us...Again, I applaud Sgt. Craig Pusley, and I think he's more a hero than anything...DISHONORABLE I THINK NOT...I THOUGHT MILITARY WAS TO PROTECT US, ISN'T THAT WHY WE HAVE MEN AND WOMEN IN AFGANISTAN, IRAQ, AND OTHER COUNTRIES...I know that I'm not the smartest person in the world, heck I have been called dumb, so please feel free to explain. Oh yeah I am also from the SOUTH so you will have to explain it slow, because many people have even referred to us as stupid, but I believe this time the stupid ones are called "GOVERNMENT".
Lisa only the Marine Corps does not allow you to wear fatigues on the street without being on duty.
You know what, I have seen many people wearing fatigues military style asking for money...etc. That would probably be a sham. But to slam the hammer on this hero because he didn't follow rule number whatever under code whatever is nit picking, unfair, uncalled for, rude, mean, heartless, and, guess what?...un-American. You need to look at his intention and heart and not on some guy trying to get any benefits from the military. Who cares if he didn't serve..in my eyes he is serving his...

You need to look at his intention and heart and not on some guy trying to get any benefits from the military. Who cares if he didn't serve..in my eyes he is serving his community now! Who cares if he isn't a Sergeant...he is a general in my eyes now! Lastly, at least he admitted his fault which is probably more than some of you have ever done! Cut this guy some slack and quit your holier than thou stance against this citizen soldier.
Every school should have more people like this brave soldier stand in front of a school and volunteer to protect our children, our future and for that I thank him and the brave men and women of our armed forces for their lives laid on the line each and everyday. Thank you and GOD bless!
people....please get a life......this man has fought and has earned to right to wear whatever he wants to wear....he is NOT active duty anymore so who are the reservist to want to fine him and stamp his discharge papers. PLEASE! Let something happen at that school and then see who is whining around about no one stepping up and trying to make a difference. Start worrying about all the hungrey children or the vets who are getting no help from the govt and leave people alone.
I don't care what he wears or about the lie. He took it upon his self to be there for the children, so people get over it. More people should do what he did.
Semper Fi brother a true American Hero
I can't believe this wonderful man that only wanted to give the students and faculties a feeling of security is being done like this. The principal was thankful to have him there as well as the students and teachers. They need to leave this brave marine alone and I think he deserves praise instead of criminal charges!
I really wanted to sigh this, but after reading below, and doing some research, I can't. I earned my crossed rifles, as a US Marine, I respect what he has done, but not wearing a rank or uniform, he does not deserve to wear.
