Here in SF we will know (and have known) all too well what NYC is going through. Watching the work of Occupy Sandy Relief through Facebook has been nothing short of inspirational. Keep the hub open!
I hope we in SF will find the same support and community when the big one hits. Simply by watching Occupy Sandy and all of the volunteers in post-Sandy hard-hit communities, I know I'll be inspired to follow suit when my neighborhood is affected. And know better than to rely on FEMA etc.
to whomever is the admin on this cause page .. can you make it more timely ? and maybe combine it w/ the current one on same subject ?

we need these community services.
I have been present to experience what happwns at cedar grove hub.The human treatment, the caring nature, the outpouring love, attention, and support the volunteers provide to us survivors of the hurricaine. They have done this with hardly no help from any organizations, just from their kindness of their own hearts. It just makes me feel that there still people out there for me. Its too soon to close Cedar Grove. We still need them...
This tent site is an importaint part of a food and suply distribution hub! it is vital for it to stay open! When Fema and the red cross left or werent covering areas of need Brave 1st responders like this created and run this site! Suport, send them suplies and of donation.
Thank you for helping us!!! Please don't leave us now as we are trying to rebuild our homes and lives... Mayor Bloomberg ....have some compassion for us while you sit in your warm, cozy office!!!!
Blooming idiot is at it again! Why does he insist on meddling in other peoples lives....oh, Blooming idiot you can always buy in....
this is a crucial time in any coastal town in the usa we are not being heard at all. I am hoping that some one pays attention and very soon. we should unite and occupy city hall and get rid of lip service politicians...i am a product of the 60's were we tried peacefully to protest and this seems like it is time again to hold people accountable. staten island was a hard hit area and I see very little if anything being done to help them please sign and comment on their behalf.
Please sign this petition. What are the city thinking? Who is going to be there for these people if the volunteers are not?
Where's the great and so proud Red Cross? what bs organization! The food they serve is crap too.
