As the world economy is predicated on labour, I don't see how anyone could even fathom getting rid of the program. We have to save education for our future.
To get rid of their jobs first. Then all the hell raiser all gone. If it do not effect them -they don't care. Sad-sad-sad mesirable people
Labor in America is the driving force that keeps America moving. Tell them idiot
We need more labor studies- not fewer! (From a LRRC graduate u mass 1985)
The labor movement is under attack right here in Boston now, but we won't back down! Pass it on.
I'm an alumnus of UMASS Boston and this program should be supported. A public higher ed institution SHOULD do more to keep a Labor Studies program open.
I Love to be following Ellen Schimrer from Madison Wiscosnin, My home town!
I went through this program. I graduated in 2007. The students and faculty were of the highest quality I'd encountered. And this was my third attempt at a BA. The Lsbor Studies Program, by the nature of the beast, required it's students to be the most rounded of all those at CPCS.
