Until we remember our Mother & sister it will continue. But education is must on this subject from 1st standard. We should start teaching "Dharma" of a citizen" The education"Gurukula education of ancient method and bring the students up from the earliest. Parliamentarians should be aware of the situation.

I really appreciate that the citizens of Delhi are protesting(inspite of all constraints) against the injustice.
Now its the the time to bring justice to our life and I request for The cruelest punishment to all the rapists.

I feel the solution is not whether we hang the rapist or not. nor should we treat it as one particular case. What is needed is the system change, which should ensure certainty of punishment and impartial investigation. Both are not possible as most of the people involved are connected to the people in power ie politicians. unless we ensure that police is not used as guard for people in power and is allowed independence in functioning in recruitment, postings and promotions etc the system...

I feel the solution is not whether we hang the rapist or not. nor should we treat it as one particular case. What is needed is the system change, which should ensure certainty of punishment and impartial investigation. Both are not possible as most of the people involved are connected to the people in power ie politicians. unless we ensure that police is not used as guard for people in power and is allowed independence in functioning in recruitment, postings and promotions etc the system will not improve. Consider the recent cases in Punjab (Faridkot, Amritsar). Yesterday we read that people of a village lynched five men who were harassing a girl. Do we want this type of justice to prevail? What is the choice with the people if the normal existing system is subverted to protect only the politicians and the powerful. The Govt must act before it is too late and we see something like what happened in Egypt.
People are fed up. I feel ashamed to be called a human being. We hear in Mandirs and Gurudwaras that human life is the superior most form given by God to attain salvation, but I feel that this form has been given by the almighty for our self destruction. No other species of life resorts to rape and forced sex except the human beings. And we call ourselves superior. The system needs change; the police must have functional autonomy, no interference from political bosses and must be held accountable. The inefficient must be proceded against and not only posted out. The criminal justice must be reasonably fast and fair.
By hanging one or five persons nothing will change. Change the system.
JAGO INDIA JAGO.

Flaws in our political and judicial systems are no doubt the major contributing factors in this problem. But the issue will not go away unless we start treating girls and women with equality, respect and dignity. It is a shame that women continue to be seen as no more than a sexual object.

As whole country did protest for this Delhi rape, if this type of protest is done on each Rape, it will surely be a hindrance and a matter to stop Rape or decrease this type of events.

If you read a newspaper of any city you will find daily many cases of Rape, Why not agitations for other rapes. It should be done for each this type of case even from road to Sansad Bhawan.

My respected mothers and sisters. .. THERE IS ALSO A NEED OF 1 STEP FROM UR SIDE ALSO...
U SHOULD START WEARING PROPER & CULTURAL DRESSES..... DON'T MAKE UR BODY PARTS UNNECESSARY VISIBLE TO ANY1. DON'T UNNECESSARY INVITE ANY1 TO ATTACK. THEN ONLY U CAN STAND & FIGHT 4 URSELVES...

Everyone is talking about punishing the rapists. Actually the real culprits are the parents of the rapists, for they have not teached the culture and manners to their sons and hence their sons have grown like animals today. Hence their parents must be put in jail.

I disagree with the fact that parents are to be blame for their son's wrong actions. Why blame it on the parents when the media itselft is a bad influence to the public.....look at the kind of movies and vulgarities they are showing in movies these days...

This is the common punishment in India for any severe crime. But there would not be much pain. Still the governments want to enforce the same punishment in every brutal crime.
