Trust a teacher with a gun? Seriously? Teachers are mostly liberal from what I've seen they're anti-gun. Teachers can't stop bullying, don't want to get invovled in fights, heck have rules that they can't get involved. And I was a school bus driver so I'm aware of the politics invovled. And people think they should have guns? Heck no! Police in schools, armed security, fine but teachers and guns. "Shudder"
What better way to change the balance of power in our schools <g>
I believe everyone should have 18th century flintlock guns
I do...I Keep it right next to my .357 magnum, my Shotgun and my .22
How did a semi-auto rifle become an assault weapon. There are 22 cal. rifles made in the 50s that will be considered assualt rifles since they have a capacity on 16 rounds. I used them to chase squrils with.
They don't have to worry you couldn't catch them anyway
Train the teachers on how to handle a gun with training and let them carry conceald in school.
u ole dem u and now want guns ofrlmbo u country girl
Like I said on MSMBC: "The fact is firearms are only instruments; do we blame the violin for the poor concerto or the musician?" Anything else is Bravo Sierra! This is Fact.
b s is not the word nuda o call it ludicrous and i guess this current regime will find out how pissed off the american patriots can get
There is nothing wrong with owning a weapon as the constitution states, but I do not think a fully automatic weapon should be allowed to own, nor conversion kits.
Unless I missed something he didn't have a fully automatic weapon. He had a Semi-Automatic weapon which means he had to pull the trigger once for each round to fire. You must own a special Federal Firearms License to own a Fully Automatic Weapon.
I don't think banning weapons would amount to much. If we look at all the mass shootings that have occurred, we will see that they happened in Gun-Free Zones. Isn't a little strange that we guard our money, celebrities, and political figures with armed security, but we leave our most precious commodity, our youth in the hands of people that we trust to educate and take care of them, yet we don't allow the schools to be able to defend against violent attacks. If there were a few teachers or...
If there were a few teachers or school officials that had been properly trained in self defense and on how to operate a firearm and they had access to a firearm that was kept in a locked but easily accessible area, they wouldn't have had to lock themselves into rooms defenseless just waiting for a crazed killer to make their rounds. There are 250,000,000 legally owned guns in the United States and about 80,000,000 illegally owned ones. There are more firearms then people. The guns are already there. If you take them away from those only willing to abide by the laws, the people who do not care about the legislation will be left to terrorize the others. When seconds count, the police are only 5 minutes away, which even in this tragic event was the case as well. We should create environments where people can stand up to adversity, not create victims that are helpless.
Brandi Bill Modes , we have a police force and military made up of citizen's, do you think we should extend rights to them and make them somewhat superior to the rest of the citizens of the United States? A felon or any person who has committed a domestic violence crime can not purchase a weapon. Neither can a person with a mental disability. People have to perform a background check before they buy a firearm with the FBI. If anything would need to be improved it would just need to be the reporting of institutions.
The second amendment was put into place to not only permit citizens to hunt for food but more so to protect them against the government. We are looking at a government that could use weapons against us like the ones they want to take away from us. Not going to happen! There needs to be a talk about mental health and the mentaly sick. Not taking our rights away!
the 2nd amendment was made to protect the first amendment.
I do however believe in background checks in order to keep firearms out of the hands of convicted felons and mentally unstable people.
to buy even a little .22 cal single shot you must have a background check and convicted felons cannot by law have even a single .22 cal shell in their house or on them much less the gun that shoots it
Remember when the Dungeon and Dragon game came out and what it was teaching the young kids.
How to rob and kill. I know of to young boys that play that game and later on in life they wound up in prison. They are out now but a lot of hard ship for the parents and the two boys are having a hard time getting jobs.
Taking guns away from honest Americans will only make life harder and more freedon for the felon that will never give up their weapons.
I also thank that the video gaming industry could reduce the violence and language in there games.
