Like Gov. Snyder really cares how many people sign a petition. However, I bet he cares how many people will show up at the polls to vote him out of office at the time of the next election... What a pathetic leader. :(

It is not so much the deed as much as how it has been done...
"A promise made is a debt unpaid and the trail has it's own stern code"... (A reflection of true character, Mr. Rick Snyder.)

Right to work has been a disaster for jobs in other states. Plus the late night railroading of the bill makes me ill.

Can something still be done?

In the last year I have lost $6200 off my yearly salary due to a wage decrease, an elimination of my classification, an increase in what I pay for healthcare, and a mandatory contribution to what I pay toward my retirement contribution. Additionally Gov Snyder and his henchmen legislators have altered my retirement, my healthcare and the conditions for works comp insurance. $6,200 less per year for doing the same job with less people, and I had a union. Additionally Gov Snyder and his henchmen legislators have altered my retirement, my healthcare and the conditions for works comp insurance. $6,200 less per year for doing the same job with less people, and I had a union. Could you imagine what would have happened is we didn't have collective bargaining and representation. At this point I pray that I can afford to retire in two years. I realize there are a lot of people that are enjoying watching the unions fall apart, but eventually it will fall on the doors of others. Give me a call and let me know how your doing when you are working for peanuts and can't afford the life that you parents enjoyed. I will enjoy telling you I told you so.................

my husband worked non-union and union you have slackers on both sides but in the end when times are tough the true colors of the "slackers" come out. there are good and bad things about unions but the good thing out way the bad

Michigan is my home state. I moved away because of the economy and lack of jobs, and by going forward with this bill, will only burden families more. How can you rebuild a city if you're oppressing hard working men and women? This act will only make people more angry and also increase the crime rate. I am a shame to see how our city has become ruins.

Union membership and activity is not just about wages. It is also about working conditions and quality of life. This is a huge step backwards.
