Nancy - you just got an ad about working from home i bet. These remarks are made out of context, and people do not know where the $62 per hour came from. I hope that you are able to find a job that will pay you above poverty level. Peace and Blessings

I'd like to make a suggestion. First, I did sign your petition, because I'm with you on this. However, to get the fastest action you have to go the political route (i.e. "We also found out this weekend that FEMA is bringing trailers to New Jersey because their Representatives have pushed for them."). By the political route, I mean each and every one of you needs to either call or write to your state representative, state senator; and U.S. representative(s) and U.S. senator(s) and tell...

By the political route, I mean each and every one of you needs to either call or write to your state representative, state senator; and U.S. representative(s) and U.S. senator(s) and tell them briefly and concisely what the problem is. They all have webpages and usually an electronic form to submit questions/concerns to. If you do that, I recommend writing it in a word program and then copying and pasting it into their form, so that you have a copy. Some will require you to give additional information, just do the best you can. A phone call is better, though. This will get you much quicker results than a petition. Petitions are once and done. Praying for you all!

P.S. The best way to get help is to be courteous, state the problem and the solution, and ask for them to intervene on behalf of all the people. No need to state the obvious, such as "I'm a taxpayer," as that's a given and it's a tiresome phrase to hear. There's an old phrase, "You catch more flies with honey than vinegar," and I can tell you from experience in working for state government that is so very true. While I helped everyone that called, the folks that were berating and abusive...

While I helped everyone that called, the folks that were berating and abusive just took valuable time away from a person who could help them and had no way to "fix the world." Stick with the subject!

Well I hope these FEMA trailers will help the displaced families and homeless people from Sandy. The sad situation of people needing immediate help and having to wait.. not a well thought out plan in a disaster. I question the government why they didn't have these trailers distributed earlier???

Please not just to Gerritsen beach but to all who were effected by Sandy and who still at this time need immediate help. Thank you!

why are they just sitting there empty? they should be brought to where they are needed immediately! we spend enough money on people "needing help" over seas! it's time to help the people here - THE ONES WHO PAID FOR THE TRAILERS WITH TAX MONEY! get trucks moving and get those trailers up to where they are needed all over the N.E.
