This is an appalling miscarriage of justice, and instead of calling upon God to intervene (is He/She available on call?), it is our responsibility as citizens to put pressure on the government to reassess this case.

Why contact the Vancouver police? Just to watch her? They may, but only for a while. Then more animals, and possibly people will start showing up dead. In California, there is a state hospital for the "criminally insane". Does B.C. have this as well? If there is ample evidence that she committed crimes, and likely will commit more amplified crimes in the future due to her uncurable psychosis, she should be committed, not just followed. I do not get the judge's reasoning on the "sentence" or the DA's reasoning, if this was a plea bargain. If she does get caught again - and then "put away" - then the public can be safe, but at the price of more animals and possibly people who will die in the interim at her hands.
