The solution to paper issues is simply HEMP! A great plant given to us by mother nature and no other plant could do the the job whether it was genetically altered or not. It's just so mindless. Legalizing the plant is also key to this damn corporate greed.

Grow hemp like they did before the war. Had they continued the worlds forests would still be complete.

I really have a hard time wrapping my mind around what money minded people are thinking. They do not care what impact they (or their product) is going to have on earth, people, animals, or anything else. How can they look at themselves in the mirror everyday? Seriously, we need to bring all the "seeing Green" (and I don't mean going green) to a stop.

Another bogus fear. Modifying plants brought us hybrid corn and round up ready soybeans increasing production and yields. Its the fear of microwaves gone botanical.

Oh Dale, you are so wrong. There are more than 144 cases of documented GMO contamination from annual crops. What do you think will happen with trees that can grow for decades, if not centuries and, in the case of GMO pine trees, send their engineered pollen for 3,000 kilometers? If you think there is nothing wrong with GMO soy, I suggest you visit some of the peasant communities in Brazil where children suffer horrible diseases due to the toxic pesticides used on the GMO soy. Amounts which tripled with the introduction of herbicide-resistant soybeans. Oh yeah, and now there are herbicide-resistant weeds, so Monsanto et. al. are creating plants resistant to more toxic pesticides. NOTHING could ever go wrong with that...
